The FASD Respect Act reauthorizes and updates programs run by the Department of Health and Human Services to tackle fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD). It creates FASD Centers for Excellence to enhance prevention efforts, including screenings, public awareness campaigns, and training, especially at the state and local levels.
